King George’s Medical University, known as KGMU, is one of the oldest and biggest government hospitals in India. Located at Shah Mina Road, Chowk, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226003, KGMU has been treating patients since 1905. Every day, about 10,000 patients visit KGMU for treatment. KGMU has more than 4,500 beds and over 50 departments. Whatever problem you have, be it with your heart, eyes, bones, skin, or any other part of your body, KGMU has a doctor for you.

You do not need to stand in a long queue. You can book your appointment from your mobile or computer at home.
You can call KGMU directly and book an appointment by telling us your issue. Or you can go to ors.gov.in. Click on Login or Register and enter your mobile number. Enter the OTP you received. Select Uttar Pradesh as your state and then select King George’s Medical University from the hospital list. Choose the department you want to visit. Select a date and time. The OPD fee is only Rs. 1. KGMU is a government hospital and treatment is available at very low cost.
